About us
Leading Optics is a high-technology company focusing on development of nanometer-level ultra-precision manufacturing equipment and mass production of micro-nano structured optical devices. Based on the Shanghai research center for micro-nano optical manufacturing equipment and processes, the company has established comprehensive capabilities from ultra-precision manufacturing equipment, core manufacturing processes, mass production techniques. The company owns a R&D center and a pilot production factory in Minhang District of Shanghai, which are equipped with more than 30 ultra-precision machining tools, 50~300 ton optical injection molding machines, multiple single-station and multiple-station glass molding machines, and various precision measurement instruments. These equipment enables Leading Optics to provide ultra-precision manufacturing systems, optical molds, micro-nano optical elements, optical-mechanical- electronic products and systematic solutions for smart cars, consumer electronics, biomedical engineering and so on. Relying on the great investment on research, development and innovation, Leading Optics possesses a number of intellectual properties and core technologies in the optical and ultra-precision manufacturing industry. The company implements strict product quality assurance as well as advanced manufacturing management strategies, and has already obtained ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and IATF16949 certification. 

In addition, Leading Optics (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leading Optics located at Rugao City, one of the top 100 cities of China. The company owns an ultra-precision optics factory and R&D centers of 180,000 m2 in total, including the world-class research centers for 5+ axis ultra-precision machining center, ultra-precision forming, ultra-precision intelligent system, comprehensive optical measurement laboratory, wafer-level micro-nano optical production line, as well as centers for optical design and turn-key solutions.

The factory at Rugao and the R&D center at Shanghai will form a synergy effect of “dual highlands” for the combination of mass production base and innovative talents, which would become a representative world-class smart factory for ultra-precision manufacturing. The Rugao factory will eventually evolve into a smart optics industrial park based on ultra-precision manufacturing, with strong industry-driving capabilities. By establishing a standardized R&D and production base, Leading Optics seeks to cover the comprehensive technology development and innovation for optical design and manufacturing, and also intends to build a high-end manufacturing platform to further promote the evolvement of ultra-precision manufacturing for optics industry.
